HI Daniel, I too am newer, having been diagnosed one year ago tomorrow. I started on GLeevec, but due to extreme fatigue muscle pain and swelling, went off after three months, Did Tasigna for 5.5 months, went off only because I had liver enzyme elevation and became diabetic, started Sprycel on November 14th. Liver enzymes down to normal within a few weeks, sugars, normal...I have some side effects I try to navigate as best I can....each of our bodies will respond differently to these meds, and differently over time...I will keep my fingers crossed that your next blood work shows you maintaining and improving from where you are. I get tested for PCR on Monday...three months after starting sprycel..so we shall see....Both Gleevec and Tasigna put me in and kept me in CCR, I am still working on CMR. As my system is very sensitive, I am only on 50 mgs a day of Sprycel or half a dose..so I am hoping for good news when these blood tests come back...I asked my doc about trends, up or down, when to worry or not...I think your question is a good one, I don't have the answer, I hope others can help you, but I think we all need to keep in mind that what happens to one, may not happen to another...so I will keep my fingers crossed for you...I think all of us, uniting and pulling for one another can only help! Best to you..Beth
