Hi Beth, Don't be afraid to do a transfusion if you need it. How low is your hemg? Mine went down to 11 this month. I had it up to 12. We just have to keep trying with foods and etc. They won't usually do a transfusion unless it goes under 8. I did get some organic iron one time that did me good. I need to get some more.
