Has anyone been able to adopt a baby, post CML diagnosis? I was diagnosed 8yrs ago and have been in remission a long long time, but of course continue to take Gleevec. Therefore, I'm technically still "in treatment." A lot of adoption agencies I've looked into seem to have a required number of years of remission. I'm not sure how they'll respond to our definition of remission, since I'm still...and always will be...taking medicine for it.
