Can you share what CPS adoption is? I was in the process of adopting an older child , 3, when diagnosed. Was told I could not adopt with this diagnosis as a single mom. If anyone out there has info regarding how long one has to be in complete remission and if there are any agencies or adoption centers that allow such adoptions post remission, for couples or singles.... please let me know...My understanding is if you are married or partnered, it's a possibility in some settings, but sadly not, if you are single.
