Hi Jimmy and Lottie. my exact date really has not been established but my first hospital stay was December 12th 1977 that is when they said I had two months to two years. I was put on Myleran. Back then it was called AGL. Kim and I were told at that time, I must have had it from one year to two years prior to my ending up in the hospital.
I am still receiving packed cells once week and platelets twice weekly. I was talking to my doc, told him what your doc, said about my bone marrow not producing anything, not even leukemia, and he said that it was quite possible, as there is no other explanation. He said "good as any other reason". Hope you and Jimmy are doing well. It is so good to hear about Zavie, another fighter. My advice to anyone with any form of Leukemia is, keep a song in your pocket, be happy, and keep on trucking. The road may be hard and long but you really do have company down that road if you look hard enough you'll see Him Love Skip and KIm -- [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
