Please be aware of the Sprycel/Pulmonary Hypertension risk.
Unfortunately, I am living testament to acquiring such a horrible
disease as a result of Sprycel 70 mg p.o. q.d. As a result, I will
never advocate Sprycel and I live in constant fear. Working on this :)
Four days after I saw Dr. Jorge Cortes at MDAnderson Cancer Center,
the USFDA issued a warning on the above-mentioned risk...Canada issued
the warning 3 months earlier and is currently testing all Sprycel
patients for PAH (I have not heard whether or not the US is
instigating such studies - probably not). Needless to say, I am still
bitter over this whole situation. So, my only option at this point is
Tasigna....still waiting to hear from my new onc @ CCF for an
appointment.

wishing you all the best!!!
