I love this CML group, you put out and email and less then 1/2 hour you
get a reply from someone on your email. You contact your Doctor and days can
go by before any respond. Five Gold starts for our group.

Thanks, Patrick

Greenie,
I was dealing with pervasive fatigue about 10 or 12 years ago long before
my CML. My doctor had me try B-12 shots. But after getting no effect after
3 or 4 I stopped. Then couple of years ago Gleevec/CML really hit me with
another bought of fatigue. This time I just opted for the sub-lingual tabs
that melt under your tongue. Wow, what difference! I assume because this
time my fatigue was related to B-12 deficiency.
So to answer your question I take 2500 mg on a somewhat irregular basis,
The sub-lingual tabs work fast plus it's one less pill to swallow.
I believe puritan.com has the best price on B-12 (and most other vitamins)
especially during their buy 1 get 2 free sale about twice a year including
now.

Another question that I didn't add. Will Vitamin B12 and Gleevec get
along or are they going to go to war against each other? Don't want to start
something I can't finish.

Hi Group, I received my test results back from Chicago today. All looks
good, Cancer free but my Vitamin B12 is on the low side. 180 to 933 is the
norm and mine is 214. If I were to start taking Vitamin B12 pills each
day, say 500 to 1000 mg would that help? Over the months my nerves have
been on the thin side. Grace would be washing dishes, banging pans, etc.
which sends me to the moon. Asked my Doctor about it yesterday but have not
received a reply yet.

Was hoping someone out their may be able to help.
