Hi Suzieq.....I have gone to pain management and for a while, it did work for me, so I'm praying that the same will be true for you. Arthritis is horrible to deal with. If they get the injection in the right place it will help. I quit going as it no longer helped, but when it did, it was a very good thing. Let me know how it goes.
The side effects from this liver thing is what's getting to me. They are having such a time controlling my blood thinner. It's all over the place. I was off of it for several days as it was way to thin. Now it's normal, so the doctor is putting me back on, so I will do that and pray a lot. My legs and feet are so swollen, and so large that I can't put shoes on. I'm such a mess. :>)...They are giving me water pills to try to fix that, but so far it isn't working to well. They also want me to put my feet up as much as possible. Well......I run to the bathroom every 15 minutes or so on the water pill, and then back to a recliner where I put my feet up. It's really funny when you think of it. Don't know if you've seen the commercial for "Hopper" I believe it's called. The have a guy sitting on the toilet watching television with his feet up. I need that!!!!!. I'm really doing the best that I can. Yes, we all have issues with these drugs. Right now I'm off of the Tasigna, and don't know what they'll be doing about that. Towards the end of the month I will see my Oncologist, my primary doctor, my GI doctor, and my foot doctor....Oh yes, I expect my Cardiologist will want to see me too. If the legs are like they are, I'll be wearing socks to the appointments as I can't begin to get shoes on. Thank God for the warm weather....
