Hi Joyce,

I do know that there is another condition call Leukemic Lung Infiltrates,
although I cannot get a lot of info about it regarding CML, most of the
writings on it involve other types of Leukemia. In my case, like Jeanie,
there was a previous scan done that did not show this. For me this
previous scan was about a year into my CML diagnosis, only four months on
Sprycel. The nodules appeared on the scan done last year, three years on
Sprycel! The term Ground Glass Nodule, simply describes a particular
appearance, different than solid, of the nodules, but does not define the
type or cause of the nodules. Your husband's case is certainly
interesting, and I am sure it was of great relief to find out on biopsy
that it was not cancer. Mine are still too small to biopsy...I am told it
has to be at least 1cm. Right now they are just watching to see if they
grow, but so far not at all in the last six months, and may be slightly
improved since stopping Sprycel. Thanks for sharing your husband's
story...gives me hope.

Fight on,
Peg
