Hi Marty and thanks for that; I was my hubby's caregiver for many years, but he lost his battle in 1998; we were high school sweethearts and had been together for 44 years. He was resting with the Lord when I was dx with leukemia in 2004. My son is helping now and I have daughters who go with me to my appointments. Let us thanks all our caregivers and give them a great big hug!!!! I am doing good, and have been blessed with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, so my life is full of love and happiness. Just keep getting better and keep uplifting us when you can. Hi Jeanie, I know exactly what your talking about. After my bone marrow transplant when I finally came home I was confined to my bed. I was so weak that Shelly had to drag me into the shower and wash me then dry me off then put me back in my bed. She knew the exact time to have me get out of bed but I tried and couldn't. So what did Shelly do? She would bend my ears off to get out of bed. It got so bad (actually so good) that I figured that it was easier to get out of bed then listen to her.
