Thank you Marcie, this was most likely the worse month I've had. On the other hand I got through it. My only comment is for anyone receiving Plts or Red Cells make sure you talk about Anaphylaxis. It hit me like a lightning bolt lucky I was already in the hospital. have wonderful day SkipD

The red cells went great but then I had a very bad reaction to the platelets. They had to stop the infusion have an investigation, before I could receive any more platelets, I ended up with just 1 platelet yes 1. One platelet is the same as having 10. The machine cannot tell the difference from 0 or 10. I did not think I was getting out of this one, but here I am feeling not to darned bad. My advice to anyone getting regular infusions (platelets, red cells) check to see if they are prepared for shock. Marty I know your having a hard time as well, my prayers are for all us who face this dragon every day.
