Shelia, we didn't leave. Hear what's happening now...
At 8:17 a tornado hit my area but not directly around my house. It caused all power in my area to black out. Then within 28 minutes it suddenly turned back on and everyone in my community has power restored. Got to hand to Florida power and light... Since the tornado is just beginning and later on Sunday morning the hurricane should be upon us. However the "good news" is that it had turned to the North West and the West coast of Florida should get the brunt of it around such as Ft. Meyers and Northward.. After it's finished with Florida it will head directly to Atlanta Georgia and North. Now that doesn't necessary mean that we are out of the woods because this Hurricane is the size of Texas and it will probably engulf both the West and East coasts of the Sunshine State but as i mentioned the center is located on the West coast, and that should be sometime early Sunday morning. Lets hope for the best. So far we still have power but it will probably go out again sometime this morning. I will try to keep everyone notified if I can.
