Sending Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to each of you. Nick's at year 15
with CML. For each day together we thank God and appreciate this time, this
day.He's had muscle shrinkage, and the pains which we guess go with CML in
muscle, joint, the spine. The hair loss. The sweating to the point of soaking
parts of T-shirt and flannel when he's working on tractor or moving lumber and
equipment. Sometimes being really chilly and layering clothes to keep warm or
wrapping up in a blanket as well. AH! The Gleevec "wonders" years. Every day
someone does or says something kind or is there when we need help even before
we know we would need help, and we thank God for that person-for that moment in
time. We decided we must pass these moments of goodness on in our way to
others....note, e-mail, phone call, smile, listening ear, praying for others,
opening a door, a nice comment to a stranger.....you all do these,

I first noticed my right pinkie was numb and then it went all the way to my
elbow.
