Ektron claims wrong, the Ephox JNI approach works flawlessly. We spent a _great_ deal of effort to make sure that it works exactly the same way on Mac as it does on Windows. Our API is just as powerful as any Windows-only solution and enables JavaScript macros, custom toolbar extensions, and more. In fact, because we use the native Mac OS X Aqua look-and-feel when running on Mac we often get comments that it is easier to use than any Windows solution :) I don't know about that but it certainly looks nice!
