Did you miss the part that says 'true cross-platform' ?

Microsoft's contentEditable is available on, I believe, one platform, the Window's version of Internet Explorer.

This not only seems outdated, it totally ignores MS's contentEditable and all of
the other builtin functionality available. You should give credit where credit
is due.
