2. the network the list sits on is undergoing some improvements, so there will be a few more brief, planned scheduled maintenance outtages. 3. cam and i have also recruited a couple new list moms to help us with administration tasks. the new list moms started a few months ago, and have been a big help. at some point in the future we will probably introduce them to the list. 4. the list continues to grow. we added 265 members over the last quarter of 2002, there are more than 2800 list members. and message volume has also risen month over month since the summer. SOME REQUESTS * Please, trim your posts. I know I say this a lot but it makes a huge difference for us. The size of the list combined with bandwidth costs add up. Also, with close to half the list on digest, having to scroll through repeated threads over and over is quite cumbersome. * A reminder: no marketing to list members, on the list or off, is permitted. List-moms take that very seriously and we reserve the right to do whatever it takes to protect list members. * Some of you reply to any email and try to work in a thinly veiled product pitch. Stop it, you're not fooling any of us. * Send your gripes, comments, praise, and reports of unsolicited marketing sent from other list members to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Lastly, I want to say that I really appreciate all members of the list, especially those of you who take the time to contribute and respond, even to the newbie questions. It's a smart group of people, and I'm very humbled that you've chosen this forum to share your time, experience, and opinions. As listmoms, we strive to make this forum a good home for all of you.
