I have no idea if this answers your question, but I figured I would
throw it out -- in large part because I've not seen this mentioned, and
I was wondering if anyone had availed themselves of this and whether
they found it useful.

Full disclosure: I worked on this project as a contract coder for
Forrester (on the delivery interface, not on the research).

Forrester Research is a business research firm and consulting house
which has ties to no vendor (CMS or otherwise). One of it's many
"products" is a subscription area of its website called "TechRankings",
which has a CMS area.

TechRankings is a decision-aiding tool. They partnered with Doculabs,
which tested and scored each of something like 10 high-end CMS products
(e.g. Vignette), on thousands of criteria. The application allows one
to weight each of many (hundreds?) of criteria, as to how important that
is to your organization, then presents a comparison of the products
based on that weighting.

The product costs money to use, probably a lot.

(My org has not used this because "high-end enterprise solutions"
precisely describes what we, a non-profit, won't ever be using.)
