No, the problem is that the example doesn't demonstrate any actual consequences of testing the return code from COMMIT. Remove the COMMIT and the IF clause, and the results are exactly the same: OUTPUT causes an implicit commit, TISSUE fails (or has already failed), and CONSOLE ends without accepting any input. ¬R
