Take pity on a poor ex-Vm'er who doesn't have access to VM any more... I've been trying to solve a problem in another programming language and decided to write a pipe to clarify my thinking - it worked - I realised what I needed and didn't need. However, during the thinking stage I couldn't see how to solve this one...
Given (a) a file and (b) a list of keywords, how do I get a list of column positions of the keywords in the file? Each keywd may occur in any line, no order implied, multiple times, multiple keywords on a line (including up to, and including, none of them). Rownums are easy, colnums I couldn't see how, but then I'm out of touch these days... ideas? -- Cheers, Rod
