Sure, PIPESERV can pick up the SCIF messages as well. If you an an IUCV handler active, SCIF will go there automagically. When Finn Skovgaard left CMS many years ago, he sent me a big brown envelope with the documentation. Unfortunately, I've never been able to master his creation. So I passed it all to Holger Woller who was willing to be foster parent. But I think that when Holger wrote our Linux console interface, he crafted his own pipeline refinery rather than using PIPESERV for it.
