Aha! Thanks. I knew I had been there before. But yesterday I
started at http://vm.marist.edu/~pipeline/ where I read:
If your z/VM system has Internet access, you should ftp from
your z/VM system to obtain them. Proceed with the procedure
described in the paragraphs below only when you cannot get
the files the easy way.
That seemed to say I should read no further, so I clicked on
"ftp from your z/VM system", which takes me to
http://vm.marist.edu/~pipeline/ftpmar.html which didn't have
the information I needed.
I also notice that there are 1866 *.html files in
ACADEM:PIPELINE.EWEB, most of which seem to be descriptions
of the pipeline states. But is there any menu or index
page to facilitate navigating among these?
And, accepting John Hartmann's statement that NXPIPE.*
don't exist, I wonder why "dir NXPIPE.*" shows two files,
both of which give SFS errors? Is this a known behavior
of FTP and/or SFS?
Thanks again,
gil
