Hello Philip,
(indeed, the pairwise is needed)
It's clearer for me as I know all the stages involved, so I understand
how and why it works.
Next step for me is to get familiar with the stages in Rob's solution
(there are too many that I don't know), to understand his solution also.
Thanks for your help !
Michaël

Hello plumbers,
Is there a stage which can combine an input of N1 records and an input
of N2 records to give an output of N1xN2 records in the following way :
Input 1 : 3 records :
A, B, C
Input 2 : 2 records :
X, Y
Output : 3x2 records :
AX, BX, CX, AY, BY, CY
(or AX, AY, BX, BY, CX, CY, that's irrelevant for me)
Is this any clearer?
pipe (end ?) stream1 | insert / / before | l: lookup 1.1 detail
allmasters | not chop 1 | join
? stream2 | insert / / before | l:
I think that maybe needs a 'pairwise' on the lookup--I'm at home away
from the manuals.
