Interesting, I thought commitment was one of the things John Paleveda taught in my very first class in early 1989. Maybe you had described the concept but not added the subcommand yet. Was the check for file existence buried in the syntax check back then? (Is it still?) I guess I didn't keep a copy of PIPELINE NEWS115 because 1.1.6 was the earliest product version I ever had to worry about having installed! ¬R
