Thinking a little more about this, I think it's not so much PIPMOD STOP as a PIPESTOP stage elsewhere in the pipeline that's being watched for. PIPESERV writes output, somebody else downstream reads it and decides it's done, and PIPESERV needs to detect when that happens and sever all its input streams. ¬R
