Alan, I tried using !STARMSG *MSG',
and the response was sent to console.
That is why I used STARTMSG *MSGALL.
That way at least the response is sent to the REPT.

I am following your advice, and I am not able to past SPECS.
Here is VMSECURE when I issue the command myself
VMXCMD1117E The CAN command is not a CA VM:Secure command.

With the following pipe, I can see the VMXCMD1117E message made it to the
report...
but after that the pipe is stalling in SPECS...

I tried sending the full word "Ready(00024);" but didn't work either.
I tried sending the full record (recno 1) and failed ...
Is there a way to send everything to REPT?
