You really want individual virtual machines to register for the signal so that QUERY SIGNALS will show meaningful status. If I add CMS Event Services support the CSL routine I wrote, then PIPE (or any other program) can easily listen for the event. Then, when the program is ready, it calls the CSL routine with the "quiesce" option. I just need to find the time.
