The web site has been up and down quite a bit lately. Not sure why?

Yes have to agree, Jahia is terrific for SME intranets and extranets. 

The licensing fees are quite hefty, though this does help fuel the open
source development and you can always get stuck in and extend the system
if need be, which is often the big problem with proprietary ( closed
source ) systems.
