I need to ask another question.
We want to test on a local php box because it is easier to test on it than
to go into our jsp/bea boxes.
I'm looking at the jspwiki and it looks good.
I'm not sure exactly /what/ the "question" is in the above two
paragraphs, but FWIW I use JSPWiki for internal and customer use,
and think it's pretty useful (and easy to mod).
But obviously it requires a servlet container, so -- why don't you
just run Tomcat on your desktop/dev machine if access to the BEA
boxes is a problem?
I've got a more global question that could be off-topic.
If given an option, would you choose a CMS that was jsp, php, or

I would choose a CMS that uses the MVC pattern, separating data from
business logic from presentation, and beans/servlets/JSP is a common
way to implement that. :-) I don't know if there's anything similar
in the PHP/PERL realms right now, but if there is I'd be interested
in knowing more...
