Hey Elle, If you're willing to conder .Net / SQL Server, I'd highly recommend checking out Umbraco (www.umbraco.org) - its Open Source, totally flexible, generates absolutely no markup itself (so can produce 100% compliant markup), powerful and a joy to use & extend... definitely worth checking out IMO
