d) All of the above, sort of.
I think a) is the real answer, if return-from-frame means to return a
value for a function in the debugger. A while ago, someone did post
an answer for b), and it was integrated for a short time, but
something was broken with it and no one figured out how to fix it so
it was removed, c).
I believe sbcl has a working version of this.
