The cvs server on cons.org is still down. Don't know when it will be
back, but hopefully soon.
It will be quite difficult to go from 18e to that version. At worst,
you may need to do some 20 builds.
Save yourself some trouble and grab a recent binary from a mirror site
(http://www.cons.org/cmucl/mirrors.html). Unfortunately, it seems
there is no corresponding tarball of the sources. If you really want
the sources, I think I have the checked out sources that I used to
build the 2003-12 snapshots.
