Using the source that matches whatever build you need. Building CMUCL source doesn't seem easy, but you may want to look at how gentoo accomplishes the task. > Is this a Fedora 2 problem? It sounds like cmucl-devs are supposed to worry that you might not use CMUCL for whatever unmentionable you desire. For myself, I remember going thru some concern about motif and the debugger/inspector when I started CMUCL, but I have never noticed it's absence in the meantime.
