Or CL and a Server (DB, Web) They have always said an SMP laptop would have to be one of the lower-power microprocessors. RISC, PowerPC, ARM... Better interactive response, backgroup AIO and system tasks. just think of SMP SMT (hyperthreading)... Maybe Steve will be de-throwned and Apple will bring an updated newton back with the ARM jazelle (partial native java instructions) extensions. As well as the hardware OO MMU for the newtonscript. A soup based CL, anyone?
