It was nice to see TV coverage of one race on Sunday. But where are the Americans in the Americas Cup? Not sure if I should root for the American Oracle boats, skippered by New Zealanders and Australians or root for the only boat skippered by an American? I like what Ellis from Oracle has tried to do to stir up some interest in sailing, but his hired guns are all foreigners. My favorite is the challenger from Sweden, Artemis. The skipper is Terry Hutchinson, from Annapolis and the key organizer and possible tactician is Paul Cayard (Pirates of the Carribean) from California. If America wins, the cup stays in San Fran. If Sweden's Artemis wins, the next races will be in Sweden and maybe in Viking Longships?
