If you go to the Yanmar website you can download spec sheets and
installation drawings for the 2 cylinder and 3 cylinder engines. That will
tell you things like the length, width, height, height of the output shaft
of the transmission, spacing of the motor mounts, etc. You should be able to
figure out if the 3 cylinder engine will fit your existing engine beds and
fit into the engine compartments without significant rework.

Gord, I don't know the difference in measurements between the 33 mkII and
the 34 but my 3GM engine fits perfectly in the engine compartment.
However I see sailboatdata.com shows a larger port Qberth for the 33 mkII
than mine.
