OUCH!!!!!!!!!!
I did mine myself. The bill was about $600 for mast out and in, plus what I
spent on aluminum fabrication for the mast step. Maybe $1000 total!
It was a large pain to lay on my belly scraping all the old rotten wood out.
That was 2 days work right there.

The estimate I got for repair (from the same yard that the owner had all his
work done at) was about $6,500, including crane (and probably an overly
healthy amount of time up on the hard to do the repair).
