Wow! Great pics.
I wish I had our boat done, but I can't imagine how much it is costing.
Care to share some numbers?

 Started the topsides this week.

The good, the bad, and the ugly…

Most of the shear was ground down to the cloth for exploratory inspection.
The existing paint was cracking in a lot of areas. Fortunately it was
mostly only gelcoat cracking. There is one spot that we found wet balsa
core on the starboard side just ahead of the transom. This was exposed,
found the dry margins, cored, filled and re-glassed. Only a couple of
minor blisters on the vertical areas of the topsides.

The project committee (wife & two teenage daughters) want me to consider
changing the color scheme. I’ve been outvoted 3-1…we are looking at gray
with blue striping similar to http://www.neboatworks.com/sail/allegre.php
