I had to fix a 3' by 5' spot of wet core on my 90' 34r ahead of the keel this
winter do to 3 limber holes drill through the hull in to the core. I sealed
the limber holes with splash zone. I tried epoxy but the core in the frames
was to wet after 2 months in heated storage with fans. It turned out grate.
You can build up a flange on either side of the frame and on the deck to really
seal it. The copper tubing is grate on a bench with new material but hard to do
right up side down in the bilge. I have used splash zone on every thing from
keel pipes to emergency hull repair. The stuff is a no sail item on my boat.
