Well, I never meant to imply that the Hinckley was a "bargain"; more just to provide a relative perspective of what's happening in today's market on age and quality versus value, market price and asking price.
And the relocation assumption can be tricky too. For instance, I live outside Washington D.C. in Virginia, my boat lives across the Bay from that Landfall and "Ronin" is registered/documented in Maryland. And finally from Onancock, I can attest that there are a wealth of great cruising destinations within an easy, moderate distance sail across the Bay...
