Hi, Pete, and welcome!  My LF38 is hull #9, from the Rhode Island plant; 
originally sailed in LI Sound, now in Lake Superior.  Where do you sail?  And 
show us some pix of your stern refit!

As you've probably gathered if you've been on the list for a while, the "gold 
standard" in LF38 refits goes to Wal Bryant, currently hanging (and drinking 
tequila) in Mexico.  You can see his projects at his website, www.wbryant.com.
