Guys on the list can help find a surveyor for you, but Ontario's a big
place.  We need a bit more precision on that.

On making your offer, you could also use the YBAA form and then just
customize it for a private sale.  (it's easily Google-able)

Liens - No idea.

Deposit - usually about 10%, once he accepts the conditional offer

On a 33, you have an option to register (Canada) or license.(Ontario)   I
believe it's all done through Transport Canada now.  Here's the link.

As for PST, it used to be that Transport Canada didn't collect the PST when
you registered. I don't know if this is still the case. However, the HST is
technically required to be paid - but it may be possible to register or
license the boat without paying it.
