In my world GOB means going out of business. Took me a second to realize
what you meant!

Basically you all are creating the GOB class for this race ;)

Last year we had the Cal 25s show up as a fleet and race as a one-design
class.

Inner Harbor to Baltimore light is a bit of a trip. I would say 15-16
miles or so.

Well, Imzadi is in.

I registered tonight for the Baltimore Light race (CRYC Race Over) on July
27th, and bought the tickets for the dinner and music at CRYC. It appears
I was the first boat to register online.

Joe, it WAS a bit confusing to register the boat on the CRYC website, but
not as bad as I thought it might be from your earlier comment.

I’m presently registered in the “Good Old Boat” class. With just 2 of us
aboard and only an undersized A-sail for cruising, I prefer to avoid the
PHRF B spin fleet. But I considered PHRF non-spin. I registered with my NC
PHRF rating of 135, though since the NC Base rating is set at 3 seconds
lower than the Chesapeake Bay base rating, I suppose I could have used 138
and still been honest.

Joe, can you tell us a bit more about what makes up the “Good Old Boat”
class?

Tom Vincent, Rick Bushie, Joel, and anyone else who might come: What’s your
reaction to all of us registering in the same class (non-spin or Gold Old
Boat) so we can compete together?

Imzadi is on a dock in Mill Creek off Whitehall Bay north of Annapolis
(thanks for the referral, Joel) waiting for the Admiral and I to return
there on the 21st. We’ll do a bit of cruising that week and plan to spend
an evening in the Inner Harbor entertaining her son and his family. Can
anyone comment on the time I should expect it to take to get from the Inner
Harbor to the Baltimore Light? I’d not want to be late for the 10:30 check
in.
