1-506 were the ones with the aluminum extruded windows. after that a few minor differences were incorporated that were mostly cosmetic. It is almost like the differnec between C&C 27-III and C&C 27-IV. The lowered boom on the earlier 30s has very little effect on the speed potential of the boat compared to the later versions (1980 &81) and most handicappers consider these to be the same boats.

The 1-506 version is what we have - the earliest ones had the boom a foot lower than ours, but they modified that after the first ones were built - too many headaches. I don't know why the listings cut off at 506, because I have 593 and you are at 675, which is one of the last ones built. The Chesapeake rates mine at 174 - no fixed prop, no roller furling, both of which would change it + 3 seconds for a fixed prop, 6 for an above deck furler.
