I’m looking to replace my massive Robertson autopilot control and am
seeking recommendations. I have a 37+ with an Octopus hydraulic arm that is
connected to the quadrant.
I would only use the autopilot when under power on a long voyage while
I’m either on deck watching or running below to grab something quick like a
beverage. I doubt I would use it during any significant weather helm.
Due to recent events in unsurpassed customer service, I’m partial to
Raymarine,
What would you choose and how difficult would the installation be?
