The revival of C&C is well underway and we are in good hands, last Saturday's
open house was a great way to spend a weekend on the east coast. USW put on a
great show of their plant, processes, and boats that really let us see
first-hand how our boats are designed and built. C&C had its own seminar where
Rob Mazza and Mark Mills gave a good presentation of our design and history for
those unfamiliar with the story. It was kind of odd travelling to Newport to
hear about the history that happened on our doorstep in Oakville.
If anyone is looking for a great dinner in the area - drop by Rhode Island YC
for Friday night dinners, they were great and Vanessa at the bar will keep your
thirst quenched. Seafood in Newport head to Scales & Shells for the Lobster
Diablo.
Thanks to all the team at USW for a great excuse for a weekend escape!
