I also have a Honda 2000i. It sits comfortably under the helm seat. I store it in the shower on a rough passage or if we are otherwise expecting nasty weather. It may fit in a cockpit locker, I don't recall trying to see if it fit. Very quiet.
Be aware of and mindful of your neighbours so don't run it when the anchorage would otherwise be silent. Ken H.
