I removed the dorade boxes on my 35 mkII and replaced them with four inch nicro 
solar vents mounted on teak pads.  I was able to enlarge the existing hole in 
the deck and the liner with a hole saw using  previously drilled hole in the 
pad as a guide.  The hole through the liner ended up very close to the head 
bulkhead, but wasn't an issue in the end
