Well spring is definitely in the air even though there is still 2 feet of snow
around the boat. This week end I decide to remove the fuel tank to clean it.
All I can say what a major job. Well with the tank nice and clean it was time
to tackle the filters. The fuel lift pump and filter were very loose, probably
could have turned the bolts without the ratchet. Now the question when I
replace the pump and filter can I use some type of thread lock. If so any
recommendations. Also I’ve always had trouble keeping the banjo fittings tight
at the pump and filter. Anyone else experience this and how did you over come
it. The engine is a 3HMF.
