The CC115 uses Dip Pole. It has a different end on each end of pole.

All this talk of spinnaker handling has me wondering.

Do most of you use end for end spin pole handling for jibing or dip
pole? If dip pole, do you use 2 sets of lines?

We are trying to get the foredeck dance down with dip pole jibes since
it should be easier on the foredeck crew, especially in winds above 10
knots.

Even with a carbon pole, 14 + feet is a little unwieldy in a breeze for
end for end jibes.

If you are going to douse and gybe you will need to clear the primary in
order to sheet the gennie.

Primaries would be for the guys. Should have pointed that part out; we
use symmetrical chutes.

Thanks,

The sheets would still go aft to the same position for block and
then bring them forward to whatever winch. I would suggest that you do
not need the primaries while flying chute and that should be what you
use for the spin sheet.
