I've had this boat 12 years, tried a bunch of stuff and settled on the
following:

For the interior I use Pinesol to clean teak and Watco Teak Oil from Home Depot
to reoil it. Both products are inexpensive and proven. I try to wipe down all
of the wood, during the winter months w Pinesol. I make up a spray bottle
mixing it w water as directed and keep only the premixed spray bottle onboard.
You can can use it to clean most all surfaces and you don't need to rinse it.
Spray on and wipe. I think Pinesol cleans better than Murphy Soap and smells
great. You can easily clean and oil small areas until it's all done.

If I see mold starting, like white spots inside cabinets or behind a door, I
spray Pinesol, let it soak a few minutes and wipe it off. I repeat that until
the paper towel wipes off clean. Then I spray a light coating of Pinesol on and
leave it to air dry. It removes very little of the oil and cleans very well. A
sponge and a rinse bucket would also work.

Tilex works great to clean any black spots on fiberglass. Condensation seems to
attract the little devils so I try to wipe down the whole interior once a year
during winter layup. I spray a little on a sponge and wipe down the fiberglass.
I rinse the sponge in a shallow bucket of water and spray, wipe, rinse, repeat.
Tilex also can be lightly sprayed on and left to dry, creating a nice
preventive barrier. You don't want to breathe this stuff. It will give you a
sore throat you'll never forget. Instead, spray it on a sponge and hand wipe
the fiberglass surfaces. It will whiten paint, so you may want to test an area
out of sight first?

Fabreeze works well to keep the cushions nice and fresh. Spray a little thru
the whole boat just before closing it up and it will smell fresh when you
return.

No more, "Dad, you smell like the boat!"

Subject: Stus-List Interior Wood Conditioning?

I was hoping to tap the collective wisdom for suggestions on conditioning matte
finish interior bulk heads, cabinets, etc. I am hoping for a "rub it on and
done" solution. It doesn't need to last forever as long as it doesn't take
forever.
I have been using Murphy's oil soap disposable cleaning wipes, which are great,
but are a bit too far on the cleanser end of the spectrum. I like the fact that
I can leave a pack under the sink and use them at will however. If there were
something similar but better, that would be great.

Thanks,
Kevin
